I found the 1.6 download so I uninstalled 1.5 and tried that but it came up with this error while installing:
Error : PCLZIP_ERR_MISSING_FILE (-4) : Missing archive file 'Savant2.zip' I saw someone else had the same prob and the reply was to re-download and re-install, which I did but same prob. I can unzip the installer and see a savant2.php and Savant2.zip file in there. How can i install manually? I also tried to go back to 1.5 but got the same savant2 message. Any help really appreciated. Andrew |

Hi I have an older version of UHP (UHP2 1.5 - Free version) running on joomla 1.0.15 which was fine, but we found recently that there was a 2000 character limit per page, so I went and changed that in the configuration to 20000, but now for some reason my admin panel that shows up when you log in in the front end is no longer showing up. I have checked the module, looks fine. Have been through the configuration and changed everything I thought (and tried to put it back, but no change. Any ideas?
Thanks Andrew |

Hi,
I have the same problem, the directory permissions are ok, it seams tht the unzip above from line 112 doesn't work, because i have theen that its true, that the directory inside /administrator/components/com_uhp2/ioncube wasn't cretaed during the installation-progress. Is there any solution ? I like the idea of this component and when it works, I wan't (or i need) to buy it.Thanks for help and regards from spain. Carsten P.S. Joomla 1.5.15 / PHP 5.2.13 / UHP2 1.7 |

I have the same problem with:
Joomla 1.5.15. UHP2 Version 1.7 The standard "Beez" and "rhuk_milkyway" templates put the editor in the site header. If I choose the default "JA_Purity" template the editor does show up in the correct place. |

Hey all,
I've only this week gotten acquainted with Joomla and all its extensions. I downloaded UHP2 because I thought it might help with my problem. Firstly - I run Zend Server Community on PHP 5.212. I installed Ioncube Non TS along with your latest edition of UHP (which apparently works with Joomla 1.5) I install the UHP software as per the instructions, but when I click one of the menu selections, I get a debugger error coming from Visual Studio which is installed. Php-cgi.exe or something like that (I understand this isn't a conclusive error report!) Anyway, I found out that if I quote out the link to uhp2.class.php, the thing doesn't crash anymore, I just get a PHP error as expected (file is corrupt). Can you provide some guidance on this problem? I've tested out the ioncube decryption file and the code decrypts fine. I also downloaded the checkuhp2.php which returned no errors. Understandably, this problem could be down to incorrect server configuration. If it is, I'm sorry for wasting your time! I'm a bit of a php simpleton so to speak. Again, I hate being the guy who just spams forums with support requests. Tom |
